Queen in the Park

This statue is of Queen Elizabeth riding one of her favorite horses. It was dedicated to her on her last trip to Regina.

Regina, Saskatchewan is named after Queen Victoria, and is fondly referred to as the Queen City; regina is Latin for queen

Great setting for a statue like this. Interesting about the meaning of Regina as well.
