This photo was taken in September. It is looking east down Victoria Aveune under an archway of trees. I love all of the big trees that line the roads in this area, especially when they are full of leaves.
One little fact about Regina: Today, there are more than 300,000 hand-planted trees throughout Regina.

That is a very nice avenue of trees - I like the way they have formed a canopy.
300,000 is a lot of trees. Is Regina in an area that was devoid of trees?
Yes, I love the canopy of trees as well. Regina is located in the prairies, which is pretty much grasslands. I believe that the majority of trees are hand planted in the city.
There is a vast diversity in the province of Saskatchewan from grasslands, desert, woodlands and tundra. There are also 100,000 lakes in the province. We are worth a visit. :-)
Excellent photo! I LOVE tree lined streets. Great job!
