An outside shot of the Arch-Diocese building on College Ave. Saints Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. Does anybody know why St. Mark is represented by a lion; St. Luke an ox; and St. John an eagle? (Click on the photo to enlarge).

You have some interesting buildings in Regina. I know who the Saints are but dont know why they are represented by animals, but am keen to find out more, Must be some form of symbolism.
