I have decided to discontinue this blog. Taking pictures of Regina really gave me a new insight into my city and I loved the experience.
Thank you for everyone who stopped by and left comments. It was great to hear from you all and made me quite happy.
If you get a chance, take a look at the following Regina photo blog. It displays some great pictures and the photographer has a great eye. Enjoy!

Pelicans
Pelicans on Wascana Lake. They kept swimming in the opposite direction every time I tried to take a picture - they were camera teasers.

A sign advertising Bubble Tea and Noodles in China Town, (corner of St. John's St. & 11th Ave).
I have yet to try Bubble Tea. Have you tried it? Would you recommend it?

One Big Happy Goose Family
Walking through the park you get to see all the baby geese. Some are still quite small and new; others are getting quite big and used to people. Any size, they are really cute - all yellow and fluffy.
Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I have lost my mojo. I am hoping to get my motivation back full time. Cheers!

City Light & Power Sub-Station 2 on Elphinstone Street.
I love the door of this old building and the brick detailing.

Charity Basketball Event
The Harlem Ambassadors were in town to play a charity basketball game to raise money for the Boy's & Girl's Club of Regina. They played against members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and other local celebs. The show was very entertaining and a lot of fun.

A Pet Goose?
The other day at the park, it seemed like this goose wanted to get into my car and come home with me. Now that would be a messy pet.

Bridging the Past
This is a picture of a new bridge leading to a newly created island in Wascana park. The island has a waterfall feature that was built over what was left of the historic Broad Street Bridge abutment.

What's Your Sign?
Driving past one of the city works buildings, I saw this stock pile of road signs. According to the proposed city budget, all of these signs will soon be in use as the new budget focuses on aggressive road work & repair.

When Pigs Fly
A few years ago, local artists painted pigs and they were auctioned off as a fundraising event. This pig sits outside the Regina International Airport - which is quite fitting.

A 2031 person acoustically perfect theatre is the heart of Conexus Arts Centre. Ideal for large performances, the grand drape conceals a stage capable of handling the largest musical or dramatic productions. Painted Garage Doors
This set of painted garage doors caught my eye this afternoon. I love the creativity. It is great to see every day objects transformed into art.
